It is now legal in the state of Nevada to be in possession of up to an ounce of Marijuana for recreational use by anyone over the age of 18. Amazing to someone whom at the age of 18 went to prison for “possession of marijuana” a category “E” felony for which I was sentenced to a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 48 months in the Nevada Department of Corrections. Although that was over 17 years ago I think it is considerably important as it was my first felony conviction and shaped the next, well, 17 years of my life. Whether you’ve ever been incarcerated or not I think we are all aware of the “revolving door” attached to the prison industrial complex. I wouldn’t consider myself an expert in the Cannabis industry, but I do believe I’ve paid my dues and debts to society earning the title Canna-Man.
Can a man get a break? With thew legalization of Marijuana for recreational as well as medicinal use I honestly believe we’ve all caught a break. It is my goal to keep the public aware of the Cannabis industry as it rises from a black market into a legitimate business opportunity, a leading industry in our country, and perhaps a way for some of us Black Market “criminals” to legitimize ourselves and pave a way for our children to have the same opportunities as those with more socially acceptable hustles. Because if we are honest with ourselves and each other I think it doesn’t to much matter what your occupation is, or what industry your in, if your money motivated, your hustlin.
I’m not going to waste any ones time trying to give round about answers or half ass anything. This site is dedicated to the implementation of Cannabis into society as a whole, not as an enigma, but as an alternative form of medicine for some and a recreational way to relax from the stresses of life. If alcohol which kills more people than any other addiction is legal in every state in this great union than I pray for the day we can say the same for Cannabis. If you want the facts as they develop, or if you are interested in what you must do to open a canna-business in your community then you’ve come to the right place. If you are a current owner of a business in the cannabis industry than I want to hear from you. The only way we are going to bring Cannabis into the mainstream is if we stay united and demonstrate to our government officials that the will of the people can and will be enforced.
